Microbiology Team Leader

Job definition & responsibilities

 

  • Lead microbiology team, provide mentorship, planning and execution

  • Collaborate with the company multi-disciplinary teams, scientists, engineers, and other specialists

  • Develop and implement microbiology testing strategy

  • Explore and implement new detection schemes

  • Develop and implement validation protocols

 

Requirements

 

  • PhD degree in microbiology  

  • Excellent analytical skills and solid understanding of microbiology

  • Broad understanding of detection technologies

  • Strong interpersonal skills, a team player, extremely resourceful, independent, and self-motivated

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, tight budget, and timeline

  • Good technical orientation

  • An excellent oral and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in literature survey

  • Fluent English (reading and writing skills)

  • Personal Skills: High motivation, curiosity, innovation, and proactivity, multitasking and details oriented.
